The Tax Foundation - U.S. Federal Individual Income Tax Rates History, 1913-2010

Facts is damn stubborn things.

The biggest Bush cuts, percentage-wise went to the lower income, up to 50% reduction in taxes.

The upper incomes above $300,000 got a 3% cut.

Sure the guy at the top end got a larger dollar amount, but that's not a fair comparison.

It's just that Democrats are loathe to see successful working people keep more of their money once they've had their hooks in it. (remember, we're talking earned income working people here, unlike Kerry, Kennedy, et al inherited wealth).
