Help NumbersUSA fight Obama in the Supreme Court!

This is a must-win case. For years the federal government has refused to stem the tide of illegal infiltration into this country. The States have finally taken action and now Obama is openly suing to try to stop them.

Please help by making a small donation to support their efforts. Americans will have to sacrifice to save this country and Liberty itself. This is how we do it. God Bless those who are taking up the cause. Let's all support them as best we can.

Larry

DEAR LARRY,

Jim here, with some very important information for you.

NumbersUSA is preparing a challenge to the Justice Department in a case before the U.S. Supreme Court.

I want you to know why we are doing this, what the case is about, and what this whole matter means for you.

Early this summer, Pres. Obama's Justice Department announced that it was joining the Chamber of Commerce's suit against the State of Arizona over it's mandatory E-Verify law. Now, this is not the famous lawsuit in which the administration is challenging Arizona's S.B. 1070. It's actually a second case.

Three years ago, Arizona passed a law requiring all businesses to use the federal E-Verify system. (E-Verify is an easy-to-use web tool that allows employers to make sure new hires are not illegal aliens.)

Arizona, drowning in an ocean of illegal immigration, simply mandated that all businesses in the state use E-Verify. Those that refused risked losing their business licenses.

Who could have objected to this law? After all, E-Verify is a federal system. But the Obama Administration decided that states should not have the right to mandate use of E-Verify to make sure all employees are legal.

It gets worse. A total of 14 states require some or all employers in their states to check the legal status of new employees using E-Verify. If the administration and the Chamber of Commerce are successful, a Supreme Court ruling could negate the laws in all 14 states.
This would be a disaster for illegal immigration enforcement! Disaster is almost too soft a word. Losing this case would be a catastrophe.

NumbersUSA, with our 1 million grass-roots activists, is not willing to stand by and let this happen.
We're hiring outside counsel (lawyers) to write a "Friend of the Court" brief for this case. We will argue to the Supreme Court that Arizona's mandatory E-Verify bill is perfectly reasonable and in keeping with the spirit and letter of federal immigration law.
This will add to the normal expenses of maintaining our cutting-edge grassroots mobilization system. Will you make a generous donation today to help us rush to the aid of Arizona and the other E-Verify states?

Obama undermining illegal immigration enforcement
Maybe you've read some news accounts where the President and officials like Homeland Securities head Janet Napolitano claim that they are cracking down on illegal aliens.
The opposite is true! In reality, this administration has practically shut down interior enforcement. In other words, once illegal aliens manage to cross our borders, the Obama administration has practically given up on making any of them go home again unless they commit serious violent crimes.

Obama and his allies in Congress (like Sen. Harry Reid) have spent all their energies trying to push a mass amnesty for 11 million illegal aliens through Congress. Secret documents, circulated inside the administration but leaked to the press, show that the administration is considering virtually shutting down deportation effortseven for individuals who have orders of deportation by a court!

Without dragging this letter out too long, I'll just sum it up this way. We have an administration undermining most all efforts to stop illegal immigration. And now it's trying to get state laws that enforce immigration laws struck down in the U.S. Supreme Court.
NumbersUSA is resisting this. We're hiring lawyers to file a brief coming to the aid of Arizona and the other 13 states who are trying to defend themselves.
LARRY, will you help us defend the right of Arizona and the other states to keep illegal aliens out of jobs that American workers desperately need?
Please help today. We really need you.
