A word from Emily Littela

And now commentary from Emily Littela:

I don't know what all the fuss is about the president eavesdropping on Americans. I don't want him dropping anything on me or any American, epsecially eaves. I just don't think it's right that Mr. Bush should be dropping things on people.

No, Emily. He's not dropping anything. It's eavesdropping. Listening to overseas phone calls coming in from Al Quaeda suspects made to suspected Al Quaeda associates. Regular American citizens are not being targeted.

You mean he's not dropping things on people?

Oh. Never mind...

We miss you Gilda.

Supreme Ethics Problem?

This is going to be interesting to watch unfold. First, the conservatives launch an attack on Souter over his vote on eminent domain.

Now it appears the liberal press is after any and all dirt on the conservative judges. I bet it won't be long before there's a 'moveon' movement to recall a judge. They can't win at the voting booth and they can't win in Congress. Their only weapon is to continue to force their agenda through the courts and by steering who is on the bench.
